Samuel Barnes (ca. 1853 - 1884)

Samuel was the second youngest of six children. When he was a young boy his parents left their farm in Paint Township and moved to St. Clair Township, Bedford County. His older brother Hiram, 19 years his senior, remained on the farm.
Samuel's fate is unknown.
In 1870 he resided with his parents in St. Clair Township. It is not known where he was living in 1880 for he does not seem to appear in the 1880 US Census.
He died in 1884 at about the age of 31. It is thought that he never married.
He is buried beside his parents in Wilmore United Brethren Cemetery, Wilmore, Summerhill Township, Cambria County, PA
